Earth, supposedly the home of all intelligent life, has finally succumbed the natural disasters that ravage the surface. Many species had come to Earth to reside or had evolved on the planet over the years. The year is now 2185. Facilities have long since been built, taking off worlders and other humans to galaxies where they could make new lives. The last station left houses the young of various species where they can learn with each other and from each other.

The Sundering is such a space station and with the fall of the Earth, it too has left that galaxy in search of a safer place to orbit while continuing its original purpose. The station is fully equip to sustain the life of all those currently residing on it.
