Years ago the world was populated by humans of all shapes, colors and intellegence. Over time their intellegence and greed for advancement was their downfall. Seeking to save themselves, they began to experiment on willing humans. These experiments went on for years. Some became powerful while others changed completely. When the humans finally took the time to look at their creations they realized this was not something that could be controlled. As a result they locked up their creations and began to carefully destroy them. The more powerful beings fought back and when they could not save themselves, they sent their offsprings into a world that could not be accessed.
A land locked away by the world because of the power it holds. There, all creatures and beings that cannot be controlled are locked away. The remaining beings of power that are outside of this realm are hunted down and killed if possible. It is likely that the creatures and beings in this place are the last of their kind and because of that, they are even more dangerous.
When the world of humans fell this world was still safe and locked away. The ones who escaped carried their secrets and some human advancement into this world where they made themselves at home. Eventually they realized that some humans also made it into their sanctuary. While the human population began to grow, the creatures and mystical beings receeded into the forest or learned to hide among the humans.
The Witch:
Emeranis
Found in the colder regions of the north her powers are said to make the Gods themselves tremble. She is no older than 21 as the human age calls her but her spirit is millions of years old. Her appearance has fooled many in the past. They underestimate her power because she looks so young and that has caused many kingdoms to fall to her power. Only once was she tricked and captured. And from that prison she escaped to seek vengeance on her capture.
The Unicorns:
Saran and Narane
They hold the seat of power at all times. Though they are mistaken for simple yet mysterious beasts, the unicorns hold a power like none other in their class. They carry all this power in the horns on their foreheads. No one have ever tried to release that power. Some say that to do such a thing would be bad luck, others are simply too afraid by such power and they fear it would destroy them.
The Sea Nymphs:
Demitri and Rayan
Though these seem to be the easiest beings to acquire, one must dive deep to reach them. They dwell in the deepest part of the waters of this realm and only surface before a large storm and on a full moon. In these waters, if one is not a sea nymph, the need for air will be unbearable within moments. The waters pull the air from the body at alarming speeds.
The Innocents:
Keb and Ange
They know the secrets of heaven and thus they know the secret of all beings. Their faults and their strengths. These beings are the keys to getting everything else but they live in tricks. It takes one with little knowledge a long time to capture one of these beings and even then they could be tricked into giving up their lives or souls. They are found in all places and in almost any form.
The Guardians:
Fynair and Isle
Flame and Water is what protects these mystical creatures and beings. The flames of the Dragon of Fynair and the water of the Goddess of Tides. Both of these powers clash continuously, meeting each other equally to create a narrow void. Though this void, if one makes it through, there they will find the beasts and beings that the world has shut away. Should one being posses or control all of these entities of power that one person will be able to open the Void of Nexiar. A void capable of consuming any and everything, even and entire planet.
The Goddesses:
Riku, Kayra, and Tran
To pass through the void created by Isle and Fynair, it is best that one receives a gift from each of the three Goddesses.
To this day not many people have attempted to enter this place. More are just too lazy and others never believe that they could capture or control all of these beings. Though the main question that keeps people out is, "Of all the people who have entered this realm for this quest, how many have come back....alive or dead?"
